The dorms were well-planned with comfortable mattresses, individual curtains, shelves, lamps, and storage space. The owners, Cyn and Jo, were incredibly friendly and always available for advice and questions. The staff were helpful and provided a great orientation. The hostel had good Wi-Fi, hot water, and free filtered water. The location was ideal, with plenty of patios and common areas. I highly recommend El Patio for a pleasant stay.

We loved the cozy and inviting atmosphere of El Patio Hostel. The small scale with just a few rooms made it feel like a private apartment in the center of town. The common areas were great, with multiple kitchens, patios, and a TV room with Netflix. The 24/7 entrance with electronic key provided a safe and secure environment. The location was perfect, right in the good part of town and near Plaza Foch and the Ecovia bus station. The price we paid for our stay was very reasonable, especially considering it included taxes and a basic breakfast.

The curtains on the beds provided a nice sense of privacy, and the large lockers were great for storing my belongings securely.

They weren't the best and the water even went off one morning, which was quite inconvenient. I also noticed that the hostel was lacking in terms of evening entertainment.

my recent stay in quito surpassed expectations. el patio hostel was wonderful - comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a clean kitchen. i loved the cozy patios and the option to have dinner every night. despite its location, there were plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets.

The hostel had comfortable bunk beds with private curtains, head lamps, and sockets, which made for a cozy and convenient stay. The common rooms were well-equipped with a TV and games, providing a great place to relax and socialize. Additionally, the location was excellent, situated in the heart of a trendy district with easy access to the historic center and various amenities.

The hostel had limited showers, causing long wait times and inconvenience for guests. The shower heaters were also problematic, providing either a dripping hot shower or no hot water at all.
